This tool attachs a ratchet wrench to a box or open end wrench. This is to add leverage to the wrench so you can loosen or tighten nuts and bolts. This tool will attach anyware on the wrench from one end to the other. This is needed in tight working areas . Because the ratchet wrench turns a full circle 365 degrease you get leverage anyware with in that circle . Then you can put an extention tube on the end of the ratchet to get allot more leverage .
